“The main reason I paint and draw is to maintain my sanity. Most of the works I make are inspired by popular, nostalgic, sympathetic, pornographic or fetishized images that capture and hold attention. By recreating these images in a medium such as painting or in different drawing techniques, I am able to explore the elements from which they are constructed and expand the meaning of the image through my own stories and interpretations. I see my work as a kind of language created to share fantasies with other people. By taking and processing visual stimuli from my surroundings, I try to connect communication through the image, but without insisting on a specific meaning.” P.S.
